Cave Of Darkness, Malaysia

Recently I have uploaded some photo during my visits to Perlis, Malaysia. These photo was taken at Cave of Darkness or ‘Gua Kelam’ in Malay language. You can view it by clicking here.

Gua Kelam is situated at Kaki Bukit, Perlis. The cave is about 370 meter long and is made of lime stone settlement for million years ago. At one time Gua Kelam is famous as a tin mine for its high quality tin. The cave is also use as a passage way by the people between Wang Kelian and Kaki Bukit. The original cave was widened by a British resident in year 1935 for the extraction of tin. In 1970 a hanging bridge was built by a local Dato’ Long Ah Tong at a cost of RM 15000. In 1988, the Perlis State Government handed over the cave to the State Agriculture department. The length of the whole cave is lighted for tourist to admire the beauty of stalagmite and stalactite.

Some of the photos have color cast because of the lightning in the cave. It is because my Nikon 3200 digital camera cannot cope with different color of lightning properly. Maybe some time I will edit it in Photoshop to make it a lot better. If you want to travel to Malaysia, ‘Gua Kelam’ is a place you must visit.

How to add photo album to wordpress

Recently, I was looking a photo album plugin for wordpress that would display directly my Flickr photo album into my blog. I search it in Google and voila, I found Falbum. Falbum is a plugin for wordpress. This plugin will display your recent photo uploaded and photoset that you created at your Flickr account. It is very to install and use. Just upload the files to your \wp-content\plugins and then activate it in wordpress plugins tab.

I have install Falbum in about a mere 10 minute but some problem arises. At first, I have some difficulty to make Falbum link directly to the page that I created. What I want is that someone click on my Photo Album pages that I created, it will directly link to Falbum page instead of using link tool or blogroll. I googled it and I found pages link to plug-in. This plug-in allows you to make certain pages or posts link to the URL you specified. This two plugin is a must if u wants to make photo album like I does.

After a day hard work, I successfully create a nice photo album in my blog. Feel free to browse my photo album. I you have any question about how I implement this two plug-in in my site, please leave a comment.

How to look for hidden sugar in your food

SUGAR is a very commonly used ingredient in processed foods. The food industry likes it because besides adding the sweat taste, it serves as a preservative and many other commercial functions. It adds value for the food producers but not value to the food for customers.

Look at the ingredients listing and see where sugar appears. If it is listed amongst the top few items, it shows that a lot of sugar is likely to be added. The ingredient list shows the ingredient used in a descending order.

Sugar appears in our foods with many names and in many forms. Listed below are the different “names” for sugar:

  • Glucose
  • Fructose
  • Lactose
  • Maltose
  • Invert sugar
  • Sucrose
  • Glucose syrup
  • Maple syrup
  • Brown sugar
  • Honey
  • Raw sugar
  • Molasses
  • Black treacle
  • Golden Syrup
  • Concentrated fruit juice sweetener
  • Dextrose

Fast, Easy and Free Way to Anonymous Surfing

Whenever we surfing the website, we leave a trace called ip. This IP can reveal where you comes from, what operating system you are using, your browser type and many more information. Webmaster always keep log of ip to keep track of their users. Hackers always use IP as a door to your computer.

An IP address (Internet Protocol address) is a unique number that devices use in order to identify and communicate with each other on a computer network utilizing the Internet Protocol standard (IP). Any participating network device — including routers, computers, time-servers, printers, internet fax machines, and some telephones — must have its own unique address.

So, if we want to protect our privacy in surfing, we have trick the website. Many programs out there offers hiding Ip services but i think the best i have come by is by using this site. It's fast, easy and most important is it's free to use.

E398 Review By kulimBoy

Nowadays, handphone have become a necessity in every person life. Handphone also has evolved into a multimedia gadget compared to old days which handphone only used for talking and plain SMS.

As for me, I use Motorola E398. I love this model because it has 65k colors TFT screen, MMS messaging, MP3 player, video player, VGA camera, Java games, stereo loudspeaker, email support and Bluetooth wireless technology. I don't want to talk about the phone's spec much but you can see it's full spec by clicking here.

After a year using this phone, I want share with you my opinion about this handset. The pros are:-

  • The phone joystick is still in good condition although after heavy usage. My friend who owns a Sony Ericssons K500i told me that his joystick have to be pressed very hard to navigate the menu.

  • Original battery included was splendid. A single phone charge can last for about 3 days on medium usage. I hope my battery will last for a year or more. Hehehe.(Save money).

  • Keypad still maintain it's responsiveness although I everyday play pinball in my phone. The layout of the keypad also suitable for my big palm while playing game and typing message.

  • The navigating menu are a bit confusing especially for someone previously own a Nokia like me. But when you familiar with the interface, you will find that the menu's are very intuitive and user friendly. Typing message also very fast indeed.

  • The most things I like is the 16 mm stereo speaker. Stereo sound it produced from mp3 playback is very good. The bass and treble sounds much deeper than the other phone in its class. The stock earphone provided also sounds good.

Now we go to the cons:-

  • At 110 grams, I think it is a bit heavy for average user.

  • Design of the charging port also not suitable. Sometimes I cannot charging the phone. I have to try many times to successfully make the display "charging". I think Motorola should design a new port to solve this problem.

  • The camera lens easy to get dirty. It make the picture sometimes blur.

  • inbuilt mp3 player take a long time to load.

  • The use of transflash memory card I think do not suitable to in mobile phone because it is to small. I almost lost it when I try to slot in to the sd adapter supplied. The price of the card also a tad higher compare to rs-mmc

This is my personal opinion about Motorola E398. If u like to comment about it, please do so. I think that a newer version of this phone avaiable called Motorola ROKR E1 iTunes.

New Borrowed Handphone

This is my handphone now.. Actually my wife handphone. My handphone was dropped about a month ago. Missing while window shopping at Summit Penang. Missing when I take it from my rotten and small pouchbag. Although the missing phone is not hi-tech, but it is a very memorial handphone to me..

I still looking for the lost phone picture. I still cannot find it. Maybe later I will post to you the picture when I find it.

Do you know what model of this phone that I use now..? It is Motorola E398. To me, this phone is very good to average user. My friend sell it for only RM500 although the price at the moment is around Rm900. He only use it for about a month then the sliding Samsung came out. So he sell it to me and he bought Samsung first ever sliding phone in Malaysia. Do u know what is the model of the phone? It is SGH-D500C.

Right now what I want to do is buying a brand new pouchbag so I don't loose any more valuable item. Time to go hunting at "pasar malam" (Night market)!!!..

Annual leave Again??

Today i'm suppose to go to work. But, I took annual leave because my parent in law arrived around 11.00 pm last night. They came here to visit my wife who is now 20+ weeks pregnant. As they are here now, taking a day off is the most logical thing I could think of.

Anyway, that is what an annual leave for. No body could stop me from taking a day or two day off. I'll take it whenever I need it either it is for emergency or leisure. Furthermore, every employee in the world is provided annual leave by their employer.

Speaking about annual leave, it is a paid leave that may be use by an eligible employees for any purpose. Request for annual leave by an employee must be pre-approved by the employees supervisor. For clearer view of the topic, click here.
